Well, built in flash :3 Bounced/diffused with a few pieces of paper as best i could

Sorta trying to do something in the theme of product photography...pay no attention to the absurd level of noise in the images as I wasn't paying attention and left my camera on 1600..

These all look underexposed to me, especially 2 and 3. Is your monitor calibratedd?

To the best of my ability, Normally everything looks as it should from what im told, I think I got pretty lucky...

I agree they're all a bit dark at least[Especially 2 and 3]...I'm just not entirely sure how to fix it and im more a "learn by experimenting and showing and getting advice than sitting and reading long technical articles" sort of person

Also I didnt do much post processing besides noise reduction and a little sharpening just to make

Maybe the popup flash doesn't have a high enough guide number to bounce and get the exposure correct because with all that black I would have expected the images to be overexposed, not under. Did you try dialing in some +FEC to see if it helps?

This guy shows a few ways to bounce the popup flash:

Yeah you need to fec the flash...or go f4-f5.6. F11 is WAY too much for the built in flash. Also, don't get to close to the subject. Let be flash disperse. That is a good trick, but I use photo paper than just any paper. specially the glossy one. I use a 5x7 on my 580EXII to bounce it when outside or inside church.
