I was itching to shoot and the weather was permissible, so I packed up the daughter and the camera and headed to the Tallman Nature Trail in Gig Harbor. At first, there was very little action, then, as we walked about, things started to pick up. After the Tallman Trail, we headed to the waterfront in Gig Harbor. Here are some images:

All with 20D, EF 70-200 F/4L in AP mode, mostly at F/4, ISO-200/400.

I like then! Very nice work.
I'm impressed you could get so close to the birds with the 70-200F/4.
I've taken mine out on my lunch hour at work (Bainbridge Island) but I cannot get very close to anything--not even the seagulls!
Tomorrow I may take the 100-400--if it is not raining.
