I treated myself to a 50D and Sigma 17-70mm to replace my old 10D and Sigma 17-35mm.

Here's some early test shots taken at 17mm and 70mm respectively. What do you think?

Love the sky in that first picture, it's amazing! You captured it very well. Anymore from this series??

Second pic I think is a bit too bright for my liking, the white at the top doesn't do anything for me.

Just my humble opinion...

I just treated myself to the 50D also (but no new glass), hopefully I will have some shots up soon

boy do I know that feeling!!!! Some peeps on POTN are so brave to show their work, but I am so critcal on my own work that I really have to think before posting my images!
