So one of my hobbies is capital building photography. I'm trying to hit all 50 US capitals by 2007. Can anybody guess where this is?

not a critique but it looks like it could be a model sitting on a table. I like what you did with the lighting. No idea where it is.

hmm, i cant make out the state flag, but its somewhere up north seeing how there's snow..

I can. . . it's Providence RI. I cheated, it's in the file name on your URL. Nice shot though.

I know its not New Hampshire, so you got me.

By the way, the building is spelled capitol, while the city its in is called a state capital.

What kind of filter did you use or post processign did you do? THats an awesome effect.

I'm not sure exactly what I did, it was a while ago and I've been doing lots of this lately... Looking at the original, I took the shot with a polarizer. In post processing, it looks like I desaturated a bit and upped the contrast. Probably played with curves a bit as well.

Also, yes it's Providence, Rhode Island, you dirty cheat! I think I'll have to post another capitol soon (I always screw those two up).
