They are cute photos. I understand the no smile issue. My 12 year old seldom smiled for pictures when she was little. At a photo workshop, the speaker suggested having them say 'yes' as it makes for a more natural smile. Maybe you can try it with her.

I have a question about the background. I have seen that in your photos before I think. Is that near your house?

It could be my monitor, but it the white in her dress seems to be over exposed. In the second one, you can see the texture of the dress in a small part, but it is gone in the rest of the dress. JUst wondered if you use a reflector when you are doing outside shots.

love the last one, you maybe should of used the manual focus to make sure you get a crisp shot of her rather than all the dafodills surrounding her

Hi, Pam yes the house is near me just down the road from me. I go there quite offen I love visiting this old house place. And yes the photo is over exposed sorry but though it was just a cute photo and thought I would share. I tried my best,, as she would not be still for NOTHING ha.

These were quickie shots as I went to snap she would get up move are would look off to something else throw her hat off are something lol. Shes a mess so i had to get it fast ha. And I didn't use a reflector but I need to get one I think it would help my outside photographs.

She is adorable. I love the last photo. The comination of the easter dress, the great smile, the beautiful greens and yellows in the flowers, and the mixture of dark colors from the tree trunk and old building really work well together. A shot to be proud of!!!
