Seems like most of the flowers here are yellow :) Here's a collection of recent macro images, all shot at life size with a Canon 40D, an MPE-65mm macro lens, and an MT-24EX macro twin flash. F11, 1/250, and ISO 100.

Great images. What kind of diffusion are you using?

Cheers,
Mark.

Details on technique here (http://nocroppingzone.blogspot.com/2008/12/banded-eye-drone-deconstruction.html) -currently I have some Rolux hot glued directly to the flash heads, then a pair of Sto-Fens over that. I wrapped Gaffers tape around them to force more light out the front.

I like them all but I like the 1st one too. I think because it more closely matches the colour of the flower.
