Hi all,
This is my first post, and my first attempt to share pics on the web.
We attended a wedding last weekend where our granddaughters were flower girls - lots of photos taken, but these two captured the spirit!

Any other members from Sydney, Australia, I haven't come across any yet.

Canon EOS 3ooD
18:55mm Lens
Sigma Super 500 Flash
1/60th second, f5.6

Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong!!!

Nice photos :) The first one is a little blurry, I think (but i'm not sure) it might be camera shake. You could try holding your elbows tucked into your sides to add a bit of stability, and squeeze the shutter button rather than pushing it hard.

Beautiful girl. I like the second one. The first one is kind of dark and a bit blurry but a great face captured. ;o)

Nice pictures! You might have been a little too close on the first.

Boots,

Welcome to the forum! :D

Nice pictures of a very cute kid.

As to the little blurriness in the first one ... I normally find that 1/60 is a bit slow for my handholding abilities to completely avoid camera shake.

Best regards,
Andy

Thank you all for your comments - noted!!!

I thought that 1/60 sec with fill flash on ETTL should have removed camera movement? I see now it doesn't.

More to come, and I am starting to get the hang of the forum now. Great site, well done!!!
