Hello Folks,

Rookie Question:

Does a low Battery result in slower Auto Focus?

I've never noticed it making a difference.

Interesting...MY trusty nifty fifty seems to have trouble focusing as quickly today...I have only had it for a month so I doubt it could be becasue of use..

I'm no battery expert but I doubt it. Seems to me I was told once, by a battery expert, that the Li-ion batteries either work, or they don't. They don't fade like a regular flashlight battery would.

Sorry I have a new thread going on this issue now cause it seems to be an AUTO Focus problem...not the battery...
