I dunno about how anybody else feels, but I think the shots of a 12yr old posing like in number 2 is a little too odd/grown up.

I like 2, 3 and 6.

I'm not sure the pose in #2 is disturbing, it's not sexual in my view.

In number one with everything dead square to the camera it just isn't an exciting shot. I don't like the way her eyes look in 5 and 7. Contrast 5 and 6, her expression is much better in 6.

i like her shot 2, 3, and 5...her face is very sweet and innocent in those shots....

12 year olds are sort of like colts--awkward and graceful at the same time. I think her features are halfway between little girl and young woman. It will all equalize in about two to three years and then you'll be able to see what her potential might be.

I am with Jeffrey. I dont find any of the poses inappropriate or sexual. Over all I like them. One thing that I notice however, the skin tone is not very consistent from image to image. number 3 looks a touch washed out. all look good independently, but when juxtaposed, its nice to have more consistency in the tone.

Thanks guys.
No. 1 was taken almost at the end of the session, and taken in that way for a reason. For modeling you need a photo showing head and shoulders in B&W, so i converted this one.
No. 5 and 6 were taken when she wasnt looking, so are in no way posed. She was laughing at something funny her mum said.
No. 2 was because i was running out of ideas, having only took photos of adults before. I was a little worried about it, but thought it OK, and i liked her cheeky grin.
No. 7 was just a bit of fun.
None of them are cropped, but 1 or 2 of them have filters applied, hence the slight colour change.

This is only my second attempt at portraits with my studio kit.
They like them (and so do I), that is the main thing.

I like 1 and 2 best. The others are good but I find the first two quite striking. Nothing particularly 'adult' about the pose imo, though I get it's mostly done with adults.
