A lot of these shots are almost a year old now, i would appriciate comments, and critiscm, i dont think its a bad start for not knowing much about the logistics.

For me the one thing that stops the photos working are the backgrounds -

The people in 1,2 & 4 the House in 3 and the log in 4. I can see what you are aiming at however these things distract from the image.

You may also find some fill in falsh beneficial - the range of light in 1 and 5 could be overcome with some flash to even outthe exposure a little more.
