I recently bought an iMac and I cannot seem to get the Canon S820 printer to print my photos where they belong! Either the picture is on one side or the other and most of the time partially cut off. I bought the 4.72"x 8.5" Photo Paper Pro. The paper is perforated at 4"x6", so of course the photo goes beyond the perforations. I cannot continue to experiment(too expensive). I called Canon for help, their comment was to download their imagebrowser software, which I did, that didn't help,so I am using iPhoto again(which I perfer). If there is someone who can tell me what settings I need to correct this problem on iPhoto, I would be eternally gratefull! I am spending far to much time and money on this problem. Thanks!!!

David,
I was having the same issues with my Epson 1280 and figured out what to do. Now I know you are using a Canon printer but maybe there are some similarities here.
When I go to print, I always do a "preview" first to check the settings and properties.
In my Epson menu, there is a tab for "paper." In this area is a box that says "printable area." In "printable area" there are boxes I can check, one is "centered" and the other is "maximun." I check both boxes and everything is fine. If I don't, they (photo's) are to one side or the other.
Run some tests on plain paper using just black ink. Will save you some $$'s.
The other thing to check is the size of the photo in correlation with the paper in "settings", again preview.
I hope some of this helped. :)
