Color. Definitely the color. The blue overtone to the image adds to the blue emotional content.

I like the colour version as well. My eyes seem to go toward the girl walking away more in the coloured version.

I really like the color version, I agree with the above posts. It makes a great black and white conversion as well though. I think the image would be a little better if it were more aligned horizontaly.
