Good tripods

Im looking into getting a tripod. what do i look for in a good tripod? i'll need something sturdy but light enough to carry around with me.

depends on price,i love my manfrotto 055 pro b but it is about 5LB.the magfibre one is about 3LB but twice the price.

Take a look at the Tripod Sticky in "Talk about Photography" forum.

Here, you don't mention what your intended use is,. what cameras you'll use it with, what lenses, etc.. so anyone can say anything and it's a total crapshoot as to whether it would be relevent.
