I'm awful with naming my pictures.

A little out of season with all this snow, but it's from a few months back.

I'd like to hear an honest opinion of this shot. I think the exif is intact in the large view, but if not let me know. Thank you!

i am not sure, but the horizon looks to be crooked?? The building on the right of the path looks to be leaning to the right... otherwise I love it..nice composition, and I like the way the path leads my eye!

It looks straight to me. The building on the right appears to be a curved building, so I judged it by the buildings on the left.

Nice composition, but that wet patch is a bit distracting.

Like Rob said good job leading the eye.

I wonder if the curve of the walkway and the lean of the tree is what`s throwing your sight off. It looks straight to me too. Also might be due to the rise of the landscape to the left and the drop on the right as well.
I like the way it leads your eye into the shot. Nice.;)

about the only way to confirm the horizon, is to check it against the other building on the left. it has a distinct horizontal right below the 2nd story window. Just running the image up to the top of my browser shows it is pretty much square with the world. Love the winding path.

then straight it is :D
I guess i need to stop looking at my monitor with my head tilted lol.

The buildings due provide an optical trick on the horizon tho. I still like the image a lot. We dont get much color change in the trees here in Southern California, so i really like the subject matter

The building on the right leans to the right because the camera was pointed down. This causes the building on the left to lean to the left as well. This can be corrected using the Lens Correction filter in PS.

Thanks for the comments! :]

And yeah, good call the wet patch is distracting. I think it had rained the day before. Either way, a good thing for me to watch out for in the future.
It was shot with my 17-40 at 17mm and even on an XTi there's some distortion. I hadn't even noticed it here, but when I look I can see it. I'm not sure, but I might go back and fix that.
