This lady stopped her car and got out to check he wasn't dead

just standard cautious procedure... better safe than sorry, as they say.

cool shots, I was wondering when I read the title if it'd be anything like a picture I took in Charlotte one time (few years ago before I knew about this forum, so I didn't stop in to pay CharlesU a visit)... there was a guy laying up on a hill beside the road, looked like he was dead. I got a slightly blurry shot of him laying there as we rode by.

I wondered when someone would say this...it's an obvious point!

I had heard him snoring - so I knew he wasn't dead. It wasn't cold so he wasn't about to get hypothermia. I have seen him around, he's well known as a drunk. I had already called the medical services to advise them of his condition. I was more concerned that he would wake up and wander into the road. The lady checking him was a passing doctor. I spoke to her. This shot was taken as I came back to check on him a second time.
