Damn it . . .

I woke up early today and have been out shooting birds twice! I swore I'd never do it and now I am looking at longer glass!

Here are a couple to share:

With shots like those, why do you need longer glass? Maybe you want photos of the bird's earwax or something... ;-)

These are looking great AJ! Wow,. @ 200mm ? Or do you use a T-Con?
Your going to be dangerous with a 400mm or longer! :)

Hehe! Always wanting more, am I! I have been fortunate that I have been able to get close to these guys, I am sure my luck will not always be!

Cyber, thanks for the compliment. These are without a TE, 200mm on a 20D. Just getting close and the sharp glass allows for decent cropping!

Great job. Like you said, a lot of it is luck. Stalking close enough to a bird (hawks and eagles especially) is not easy.
