Playing around again with more water drops, going after the collision shots, learning timing, and focusing (which is a pain in the butt).

This attempt I played with the 70-200, 5D. not that feasible due to min. focusing distance, but learned different stuff from this session.

next one will be a 5D and a 105 Sigma Macro, doing it sometime tonight.

First 2 are just for fun, I like them cause they look pretty. the lighting and setup is not my main area on concentration now, I'm breaking down the learning into parts and now, my major concentration is to build a rig and learn the little details such that the results can be easily repeated.

Rigging is almost similar to my other thread on water drops

i like the collision shot...just wish the angle wasn't so high...also sometimes it's fun to put a colorful item behind the drops...good job though

Lovely collision shots - think they would look better with some colour in the water or in the BG.

That first shot does it for me.

So inspiring. And something like a "Yes" album cover from circa 1975!

Wow those are super cool! So basically this is dropping water onto another drop?
