Hey friends, the rebel XT will be using NB2L-h for its battery and it is only 720mah if not mistaken. How does it perform?
how many days it last for a full charge of it?
This is because i own a S50, and the battery on NB2L is terrible.

Check out these (http://www.sterlingtek.com/canbeqba80.html). There should be reviews of the XT that discuss battery life, check stevesdigicams.com or dpreview.com

I can't compare to the 300D, as I haven't used one, but I'm quite pleased with the battery. I just recharged mine for the first time last night, after using it for 2 weeks and taking several hundred pictures. It wasn't dead yet, but I took a trip to the zoo today, and wanted it fresh.

The link I gave you was to a higher capacity 3rd party battery that will last longer than the Canon original. Go read some reviews then multiply the battery life by however much more capacity the SterlingTek battery has. dpreview.com and stevesdigicams.com will have reviews.

I charged mine for the first time yesterday. I'd taken about 400 shots. Plus lots of just messing around watching it focus. (It's my first SLR)
I'll be getting a battery grip, though, when I can get hold of one.

I've been able to get about 550-600 shots with no flash use.
