Simi-Ambient College BB

I was doing some gym scouting last night at the local community college where the High School Championship is going to be held this year and took a few shots.

Nikon D300, 1/250, f4, ISO 1250
Sigma 28-70 f2.8
Nikon SB-26 on camera fired into ceiling for fill (85mm, 1/2 power)

Couldn't get a really constant WB but oh well. Also, they are a little OOF because I was trying some different AF modes out.

Russ, the first is fantastic, second and third are nice but a bit soft. What I can't wrap my tiny little brain around is where the ghosting is? At those settings you should be seeing a ton of it, how'd you keep that down? This is almost like dragging the shutter, cool and nice jo.

Not that I could do better, but the 1st and 3rd remind me of the players in the NBA video games.

I have no idea, I was so surprised that those came out that good because the others aren't nearly that clear. I have some ghosting and harsh shadows on the wall in some photos but Im not sure if its from my camera or my friend who was shooting next to me using flash as well.
