I bought the 5D mainly for shooting bands and in the studio so thought i would try out on sport (what i mostly shoot), since these shots when it gets dark the 1D gets put away

Awesome. I think in situations like this, my 5D might breathe again, till I can afford a 1D III. :(

Very clean and nice shots, makes me wonder whether I ought to look at a 5D...
Any chance you could post a 100% crop from one of those, without any PP?

Thank's it never will be, i wait till the new cameras come out then buy the old model cheap i don't need to have a new fancy and i don't want video on my stills camera

I would attribute the IQ more to the glass than the 5D.
The 300 2.8L is legendary for the IQ regardless of what body you put it on.
Need to leave EXIF intact for fair comparisons, otherwise its a fish story.

No fish story, they are on smugmug but the gallery is protected because people keep stealing them
