Thinking of getting a 24" or 30" Monitor

I am thinking of replacing my 20" Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW with a larger and better 24" or even 30" monitor:

For the 24" i found the HP LP2475w to be quite good based on what i've read.

For the 30" Monitor i narrowed the search down to 4 monitors (2 H-IPS and 2 S-IPS).
I was wondering is anyone had experience with any of the first 3 30" monitors..

The NEC seems nice but how is DoubleSight able to sell for 1/2 the
price..who is DoubleSight?? and how is the LG? The Dell is already well know..

I'd go with one of the H-IPS displays.

I have the 3007WFP-HC. I really like it. 2560 resolution, great real-estate, bright...but I've had a real crap time calibrating. I've tried using both the Pantone and a Spyder 3 with limited success. I also get some artifacting occasionally, but I think that's the vid card. You can get it much lower in your price range, or you can get a refurb with the same warranty for about $700.

I just started looking at 30" monitors and I was considering Dells 3008WFP-HC [refurbished w/free 3 year warranty] or the Gateway's XHD3000.
