Beautiful shot. I just love taking surf pics on days like that. It seems like every pic taken from that day's session turns out to be treasured keepers on those rare occasions. You and the surfer in the pic were lucky guys that day.;)

Thanks, and yes, it is rare when the waves are clean and I am off work to shoot images such as this.

Thanks, and it can take many attempts to get it right. I used a monopod at the time:)

Great wave! I have to admit though..when I read "North Shore" and saw full body suits, I was perplexed! I was assuming Oahu....

I guess that's what I get for assuming.
