My Powershot S10 is 9 years old and has given excellent service except for battery life for the last few years. After recharging to 6.6 or 6.7 volts i may be able to take a dozen pix before the low battery signal and then unable to retract the lens. Have purchased batteries from several reputable sources but all have roughly the same capabilities. I do not think it is a memory thing because I recharge only after low battery signal. What's up?
