A short interview, but he does give some interesting hints about in what direction Canon is looking with regard to the development of digital cameras.

Interesting to read about inclusion of web browser and other services into cameras.

This is great I will be able to take pictures and post to POTN at the same time. Now we won't be able to harass somebody for sitting on their computer instead of being out taking pictures, they can do both at same time. ;) :) 8)
And as to "other Services" They have obviously taken Belmondo's coffee lens to heart and are no doubt working on a related idea this very moment. Using water to cool the sensor and electronics down, while heating it up to make coffee or tea. To use; just attach coffee lens to end and select pour instead of take picture or browse. If it wasn't my bed time (meaning I am tired) I would probably be creating a fine example of this new Canon camera. 8) 8)
On a serious note: there was really nothing unexpected in the interview. The next 1Ds(MkIII) will probably be 22MP and for US $8000 I think they can add some handheld computer technology to it fairly easily.
Just my opinion mixed with a touch of worry I may be too sarcastic with this post given I am tired, [updating my web pages, which I had apparently not done in quite some time - like at least 9 months]

You know what we really need!! PS CS2 build into our PC with a little tablet, keyboard and web connection! So right after we take the picture, we post-process it and post it up here! That will be nice!! :p

Ouch that he didn't mention this forum. Dpreviews forums are disorganized/overorganized and difficult to wade through.
