I always make it a rule never to shoot from the mosh pit. It's hard to get straight shots. :rolleyes:

i always wondered if this band got their name from the boss hog track ski bunny or if boss hog were simply name checking them in the song?

No idea on the name. I took 'em on NYE, had the camera with me and the band asked me to snap a few shots while they were performing.

I too agree I've got better work, just did something outside my norm.

BTW...no mash pit, the camera tilts are a combo of deliberate and booze. :)

haha! at least you had a good time, yeah NYE is always gonna be tricky: to party or shoot? sometimes those drunken shoots are the best :)

Angle is too strong for me in the first two.
Mic is in the wrong spot in #3.

Looks like the light was too centered on the singer. Pity. Makes a good overview harder, or requires more time in PP.
If you even #1 and 2 out, they're okay.

I'm not crazy about the tilt since it doesn't add anything to these shots. I guess there was plenty of light but mostly on the center guy ... that's always a pain!
