How do you put a login/password to view personal photos on your website?
I have recently taken up wedding photography and would like to offer my clients the opportunity to view, select & order prints online. I have seen many photographers do login/passwords on their site to access photos but I don't know how to do this. What is also a good program or way to display these photos where they can select specific images?
Thanks so much and I am sorry for the sketchy description.

I use Exposure Manager and it's an option you choose for each gallery. It comes in handy when needed.

If you have your own site, you should contact the designer as they may have to add the ability.

I use Smugmug. You will need a pro account if you want to be able to vary the print pricing.

If you're doing this on your own web space you can just password protect the directory

Momalley, (or anybody else) Any recomendations on how to do this...I have decided to go the hard route and build my own site but I have not been able to find a tutorial on how to do a password yet.
When I upgraded to CS4 I splurged on web premium suite since I qualified for the education pricing. Everything except photoshop and bridge is completly new to me. But I want to learn...Nothing like trial by fire.
My biggest issue has been finding a tutorial or for that matter a basic direction to go. I should be able to muck thru it from there. If I could just get headed in the right direction!
Entering "password gallery" in a search engine is a little like asking for a link to every web hosting and web development site on the planet!
