Hey there!
Well done on making your first post with images attached!
But, can you make them a bit bigger?
The limit is 1024 x 1024 and 150kB (I think!)

Well 1024 makes at least a 2 meg file with these images. I have them compressed already to 72dpi and just squeaked under the 150k rule

Oh dear!
A problem with all those megapixels!!!
Well, my advice is to reduce the image file size first, to about 750 x 750.
Keep the proportions correct (I use IrfanView as it's a tiny, easy program), then Save As a jpg to about 75% "quality".
For my RAW 8.2MB files, that comes down to around 52kB or thereabouts so you might be ok if you're shooting in RAW with your 5D2.
Don't forget that on POTN, we can post images and then, if someone comments on the IQ, get advice about how to improve it, while still fitting inside the file limits.

Two new files, I decided against the other two

Yay!
Love the second shot. Like the expression of the (your?) dog. The position in the grass looks great too. And I like the B&W.
The first shot to me lacks something. Maybe it's that the sky is blown out. Maybe the general lack of colour. Not quite sure.
Did you desaturate in PP?

I did wonder!
VERY tough on the ol' camera light meter!
Keep them coming (I gotta go teach now!)

The waterfall is nice but would have more impact if it had been framed with very little of the sky showing and the water actually hitting the pool at the bottom......
It makes the viewer wonder, is the waterfall the subject, or the bridge, or what........
A little extra contrast could bring out the colors..
