URGENT URGENT HELP PLS

hi there,

I wonder if you can help me please.

I normally do children / baby / maternity photography. But would like to go more into the modelling side of things and as such I have arranged for some of my friends to come and pose for me in the studio, they are bringing evening gowns, clothes, undies, their wedding dresses etc and i have another friend who is a hair dresser and make up artist and she will be doing the hair for me.

So my question... can you guys help me with poses and lighting please

I have 2 x lights with big softboxes, a white and black backdrop reflectors and all of that.

Please please help.... I'm doing my first one TONIGHT

wow, all i can suggest is to look at posts here in the people forum for posing ideas, and either do a search for "lighting", or read the 'stickies' in the "lighting" forum. You don't have much time, so you'd better start studying...Post some results when you're done!

goto the local drugstore and buy a bunch of fashion mags...vogue, glamour, etc. Cut out the pages of the poses you want and just show your models what you want. Posing is hard. Won't get it over night. But those types of examples may help ...

My suggestion is that you follow the advice in your sig....
