I am guessing the TV was at the top of the frame?
What tools do you have? If you have PS you could probably use a healing tool to blend some more texture into the area.

Thanks :)
Here's the 'original'
http://alorien.smugmug.com/photos/468625627_7xQYk-XL.jpg I guess its the top left... I tried using the healing brush to smooth out the transition a bit but it looks photoshopped to me and i was hoping to make it look less fake
Edit: eww our carpets look dirty in this pic, I just steam cleaned them too...

I prefer it cropped in so the TV isn't even an issue. Nice look otherwise. I think she is saying to you that she doesn't have enough toys and would like more of a selection.

Doesn't look too bad, but I agree with TheHoff, crop a little in. Then stick a slight vignetting in the corners to draw your eye in and away from the cloning.

I agree.

I think it needs the entire chest, maybe crop in a bit but not so much to cut off the lid! The cloning job looks fine to me, great shot!

The cloning looks good, I just thing the big basket and open carpet takes focus away from the subject.
I'd crop tighter, like this maybe:

I just cropped it tighter and added a quick vignette. (I know it makes the carpet look weird -- i'm sure you can do much better though with the full file)

Seeing all the edits, I think mr.lemarc's is the best by far of the edits, but I prefer the original. The empty space on the side is good for the feel of it. The vignetting is nice though.
