I agree with Stan. If you want to get the "WOW" shots, you're gonna have to move in on your subject(s)!:lol: ;) :lol:

Somebody ought to put a camera on a tripod while they tempt the alligator into a "WOW" shot!

I agree, closer and I think if you had shot from the other side of the butterfly, it would have made for a more spetacular picture.

If you are really good, you'll get the shot of the butterfly resting on the head or snout of the gator. Then, if your timing is just right, you snap it with the gator's eyes kind of rolling upward to see what is on him.

u need to put one foot in the water, and lean in so you can get the frame full with the gator snout...
bite ... no he won't bit you .. at least I don't think ..

The Gators in new york don't bite.
