Okay...soooo I haven't had a P&S in a looong time and I kinda sometimes wish I had one. Through Air Miles I could get a few different ones, but I can't decide.
For pretty much the same "cost" I could get an SD 770 IS or a SD 790 IS or an A590 IS or an SD1100.
I'm not sure if I want to get a non-IS, so the SD1100 is not at the front...I'm also not sure if I feel like getting something that takes AA batteries/something as big as the A590 IS...soo down to the 770 or the 790.
EDIT: turns out the SD 1100 has IS (didn't say in their product headline)...so the SD1100 is in the running too :) hmm...plus it's only 8 MP (with small sensors I prefer 8 over 10), and it's about 400 Air Miles cheaper...hmmmmmmmm
EDIT 2: do any of them have zoom in movie mode?
EDIT 3: hmm...turns out the 770 and the 790 have bigger sensors than the 1100 (I HATE it when manufacturers stuff more pixels onto a small sensor)...so I guess the 10MP would be ok...starting to lean towards the 790...
I like the design/layout of the 770 better (my g/f has an SD1000 I really like), but the 3" screen is very attractive on the 790...soooo which one would you go for and why? Thanks :)
