Hi all,

I have been a photographer for a while and recently decide to marry my passion for photography with my childhood fascination with astronomy. I was lucky to be able to get a used 20Da in excellent condition. I do not have the camera's manual, and I learned that the 20Da has live view. I searched the net (including this forum) for instructions, but could only come up with mentions that the camera has it, but nothing about how to do it.
Does anyone here know how to use it? I'd appreciate any reply.

Thanks in advance,

Leo;)

Thank you for your quick reply. I read the instructions and tried, and still nothing. I set the mirror lock-up and change the dial to fc-1 and fc-2 (whatever that means), and I still don't get live view. I know I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. Am I supposed to just press down the shutter to flip the mirror and BAM, live view, or should I do something else?

Thanks again,

Leo;)

I figured it out.I had the camera's mirror lock-up on. I didn't have to do that. Once in FC mode, the mirror flips automatically.

Thank you again,

Leo
