I practiced using my 50D, and Sophie in front of my sliding glass door. I wish I always had this kind of lighting available!

She's adorable, and you did a lovely job with the natural light! The only critique I can find is that in the last one (and maybe its just web compression as well) the eyes are slightly soft.
I love her chunky little legs...both my guys had that as well...

I bet it was the 28-75, maybe the 50 1.4.

Surprise! It was my 24-105 which is a pretty good lens. I would have used my 85 but I didn't have enough room between me and and the window :)
Thanks for the comments.... I am sure I will drive you all crazy with this baby as I am going to keep her one day a week now :)

They are a tad soft but this is a 100% crop and it didn't show up soft when I printed it :)

She's a cutie pie for sure.. :) The soft window light is always a favorite place for me to shoot also.. .very nice.. :)
If you don't have enough room between you and the window... just slide it open and step outside.. I've done that a million times.. ;)
