Disappointed

Got an IXUS v3 thinking 3.3 MP would be enough and that I could get great shots out of it. It's still new and I've still got a lot of experimenting to do but am beginning to realize it's not enough camera!

Cannot get good depth and sharpness out of it. Is it me or the camera???

Any suggestions/recommendations?
