I am confused. The pictures on your site are broken up into different galleries; i.e. portraits and sports etc. You have links on your homepage to different galleries.

Are you saying that you want the link on your home page to take you to a place where you can chose from different portrait galleries? If so then set up subcatagories and place your photos into the subcatagories for portraits (or sports or whatever). When you hit the portrait link on your homepage it will show you all of the subcatagories.

If you want a single gallery page then delete all of the links on your homepage and then set up a single link to the gallery page.

PM me if you have questions.

You want to set up subcatagories. Using the Portraits link as an example create however many subcatagories (like creating subgalleries) as you want to under portraits. Go into your control panel/customize/subcatagories and create as many subcatagories as you want under Portraits. Then create as many as you want under Sports etc. Then when you hit the Portraits link on your homepage it will take you to the gallery page that shows the subcatagories.

As Eric pointed out you need to use categories and sub-categories. I wish the structure went further then that but for now that is all they have.

For instance when I shoot a cycling event I'll put it into Cycling 09 category. That way I can put a link to that category into my nav bar and it will take me to a page that will show all the races that I have shot for 09.

Then I will break all the races into sub-categories. Clicking that link in my nav bar will take you to the event page displaying all the individual races that day.

I wish it would go one more level like a sub-sub-category but I deal with it in other ways.

Hope that was the info you were looking for.

Sorry Blake. Are you trying to access your control panel or are you having trouble getting the link to work on your homepage.

Ok here's the way to do it. Let's say you want to set up different paintball competitions under sports.

1. Go into the control panel/customization/subcategories.
2. Make sure the parent category is set to sports and put "Paintball 1" in the subcategory and hit create. Then you should be able to put "Paintball 2" and create again. Do this as many times as you need/want.
3. Then on your homepage make sure that the Sports link is set to the gallery category.

On your site all of your galleries are under the category of "Other". Then the subcategories are portraits, sports, automotive etc. You will want to change that so that the categories are portraits, sports, automotive and then create your subcategories.

Check my site to see how it flows. http://ericdarr.smugmug.com/

You can only have on level of subcategories. By putting all of your galleries into the other category you used one of the levels right there.

Let me know if you still need help. If I don't see your post just send me a pm.
