the good old 50 1.4 wasn't cutting it for me in low light HS gym...focus was always half a feet behind the player.

why not use the 70-200 2.8 IS. Much better lense for basketball

wasn't feeling it that day. haha.
too heavy w/ a bracket and eveything else.

Not for right under the basket. The 24-70 works great.:)

Yup, i've shot at around 2 dozens of different HS gyms now. what state are you from?

PA....but direct flash under the basket....you just don't do it.
