NEW LENS. ABSOLUTE SATISFACTION...

I picked up the 85mm f/1.8 this afternoon.

You know, some things just make you wanna' go "daaaaammmmnnn".

First, I was impressed by the weight as opposed to the kit lens. This feels like a real lens, whereas the kit lens, well, not so much. I was also completely unaware of what "ultrasonic" really did for me. Well, I wonder no more. GEEZ! This thing focuses FAST!

I don't know if it's due to the new lens or not, but I was knocked out when I got home and plugged the camera into the television to look at the pictures. I was even happier than I thought I'd be.

I forget who it was who initially turned me onto this lens and suggested i get one, but THANKS!
