Some pics from the Wyedean Forest Rally yesterday and very glad the event still ran after the event had nearly been cancelled. Never seen so much snow on the stages in a long time and a shame we don't get more snow for rallying. All comment welcome.

Cheers for the comments Paul, looks fine on my monitor although the sun was shining through the trees hence some of the bright colours. Would be nice for any other comments on the colour, maybe my monitor needs calibrating

Hi Ant yes it was J3 on SS2. Funnily enough i didn't use a CBL and nothing was done differently than i normally do with the images. Any other comments on Colour/too warm etc will be appreciated, always looking to improve. Cheers Ant

They do look a little warm, Darren. None of mine are blurry or out of focus enough to post on POTN so I won't bother ;) , but for comparison with your #1 (taken from more or less the same time and place)

Nice sequence of shots BTW.

Good to see you again too Darren ... dont know how you cope with Phil & Geoff all day!

The images look better now, they looked a little warm to me as well before. Looks like you found your trademark 'low down angle' again :)

Cheers Jay, not too sure why they were too saturated at first, didn't seem to do anything different from the norm. Have fun in the Snow at the WRC event

Many thanks again Pons, i'm sure we'll meet up soon, maybe for a bit of fishing too in the summer. Wasn't too sure at first if the little yellow Vee Dub was gonna head towards us

All v nice Darren with my favourites being the MK2 (predictable or what?) and the Ascona.

Could you do myself & Simon favour and arrange for the snow to hang around on the Moors for the Riponian? :D

Such a shame the weather was awful Jim, bet you'd be looking forward to it for a while. You've got no chance to getting much more than what you've got with bad conditions like that, no fun at all

Great stuff Darren. Hope we get at least some of the snow we're forecast for tonight, and then that it stays cold for next weekend. I doubt, however, that we'll be that lucky and we'll probably just end up being ankle deep in clarts again

Many thanks Simon. It was certainly good to shooting in decent snow conditions and would be great if we could have some in Yorkshire for next weekend but as you say it'll probably be rain by then and up to the knees in mud

Great series Darren. Particularly like the focus shot from very low level. Were you laying on the snow for that one? Great to see some cars racing in the snow.

Nice and sharp Darren, but a bit samey. Were you there for the Celica moment? I always assume the next corner will be better and end up walking the stage:o (It rarely is) :)

Let's hope that they can get it re-arranged and attract the same sort of entry. If nothing else, it might help with entries for the NHFR on the 28/02.

Simon.

Totally agree Simon, apparently the entry list for the NHFR could do with some extra entries ;)
