Starry sky from Finland

Hey,

Haven't visited here for a while, but as I managed to snap a half decent image few weeks back. I thought to post it here for people to see as well.
This sure made a difference from the normal Sports photography that I do..

Good shot you got there! I like the silouetted trees and the stars look like they are well captured (no star trails that I can notice).

Thanks, there are some trails in the stars - when I look at the 100% crop of the photo.
But even on a full desktop size on my screen, they won't show too badly.
Sadly been having tons of clouds lately, so no chance to try and improve on this one.

Lovely shot there, the trees frame it nicely, and always good to see Orion, my favourite of all the constellations. :)

I deliberately chose to have Orion on it for the fact that it is so easily identified (although I would have liked to have it a little clearer in the shot), and for the fact that it also my favorite constellation.
