Another Sunset - Improvement Tips welcome!

So, I was experimenting shooting people but I don't have a subj that want to pose so all I was really doing was taking snapshots. Got pretty aggravating, so I went to the docks to have some quiet time .. Came home with two pleasing shoots ...

C&C are more than welcome and encourage .. Tell me all the negatives so I can improve please .. thanks for looking, hope you all enjoyed!

2nd is very nice, though the massive flare on the hull is quite distracting. #1 of the cockpit of the boat doesn't really do anything for me, sorry.

the cockpit was more like a impulse snap .. I still like the way it came out ...

I was trying to remove those flares, but I'm not sure what too to use .. I tried healing brush or patch and it does not do a very good job in taking it out - or should I said I don't know how to do a good job. Can you assist leitch?

Picture 2 is beautiful Rikan, but the flare needs to go. Wish I could help you with this, but I don't know how!!!

#2 is amazing. The boat is a bit under exposed but that's something you have to live with if you don't want to tread into HDR territory or blowing out the sunset.

The flare in the hull is too big for my (very) limited knowledge of cloning/patching/healing/kneading/knitting, wish I could help though...

as stated above....#2 is a nice shot, butthe flare is distracting in this image

Thank you all - I guess unless I step up my editing skills up I will have to live with the occasional flare .. :p

Once again thanks for the comments and criticism - I would of have thought the garbage can right under the sun would of have bother some as well ..
