I have an assignment coming up and I need to shoot an environmental portrait. I have 2 580ex's that i'd like to place off camera. Is there a way to split an RC cable or does anyone make an RC cable that has the capability to accept 2 flashes on one end and plug into the camera on the other? Thank you in advance.

You're looking for a PC cord splitter I believe.

FlashZebra.com has a hotshoe with in's and out's that would allow this.

A Google search reveals a few links to the same product for the answer to your question.

The flash sync cable can use a variethy of connector styles, including miniphone and household. Some of the solutions mentioned include using miniphone splitters and household splitters which are more commonly available.

The hotshoe I linked earlier has multiple outputs (2 PC female and 1 PC male) which would allow you to:

- run three cables from your camera
- run one from camera to first flash, and 2 more cables out of that
- run one from your camera to the hotshoe on the floor used as a split, and 2 cables out of that
