I went out today with my 20D & 100-400mm, bright sunny day. I found these Mallards and the Night Heron that I tried to get yesterday to no avail. Todays luck was a bit better.

I use photoshop to adjust color & lighting a little. I usually boost the sharpness a bit as well.
