I was doing the same thing yesterday, going to post some shortly. That first shot is money, I love it. What was your setup like?

thanks to everyone for the comments. i have been trying different techniques with the water drops for some while. first i started with a purple bowl and black or colord backgrounds,as in number 1. i finally made my own little set up. it consists of glass and mirrors to create a sealed box. above it attached to an old tripod, i have a squirt bottle with a hose fitting on it. the fitting has a open and close lever which makes it easy to set it to drip. at first i was using a turkey baster and doing the drops my self while taking the picture. this hose fitting makes it way easier. all was made with random stuff i had laying around in my garage. here are a couple pics of what im talking about.

I love the colors. Are you shooting through the glass?

4g63photo- no im not shooting through the glass, allthough i have tried it. there tends to be to much splash on the glass to get a clear picture. the front piece of glass is half the size then the rest, maybe a little smaller. anyways i fill it almost to the top, that way i can look right over the glass level with the drops.
