Is Canon Listening?

With regard to my recent post regarding longer zoom, other people's posts about things they would love to have, anybody know whether Canon employs people to read these forums for some free ideas? I know companies spend lots of money on market research. Seems a great way for them to get it free.

We know they monitor the forums occasioanlly, if not constantly. We do have a couple Canon people who check in from time to time.

I suspect they're keeping their finger on the pulse.

There are definitely Canon people who check in here. I can't say how influential they may be in the design department, but at least one time that I called the tech support number the person I spoke to suggested I check out this site (which I already knew about, but still . . .).

From a recent interview, I know for a fact that they listen at DPREVIEW!!! ewww!!! So if you want them to go LONG, you might wanna post there too!!!
