During an inspection of my G2 today, I found (saw) a very thin, tiny hair (about 6 mm long) behind the front lens. My G2 is 5 weeks old. Do you think that this is covered by Canon warranty? I beleive that this tiny hair was there from the beginning. Not on the same spot, but there. There is no way that a piece of hair that big can come into the lens from the outside (Isn't the lens sealed or something?).
However I'm calling Canon support om monday to talk with them. It'll be very interesting to see what they say. One thing is for sure - I cannot live with hat thing inside the lens :-)
