I just recently have been struggling with what bag to get. If you are only going to carry one telephoto lens mounted on the camera the LowePro Rezo 170 might be worth looking into. They sell them at BestBuy or B&H. I finally ordered the Nova 4 as I wanted to carry some extra lenses also.

Have you looked at the lowepro toploader series? Is that what you mean by a snoot bag?

Richard - yes that is the style.

I have a Lowepro Toploader Pro AW which is the same size as the 75AW. It fits my 20D, grip and 100-400L very snugly. Looking on canons site the 70-200 F2.8 L IS is the same size as the 100-400 so maybe that would be a good bag to start with!

Or if you want to get all-em in check out the Lowpro Specialist 85AW.

Not a small bag but the Lowepro computrekker AW will fit your 20D and the 70-200 2.8 with the lens hood extended and even a 1.4 x comverter. I love the bag for that purpose as it is very easy to take that huge lens out and shoot immediately.

It should fit all your other lenses in there at the same time. I have the 70-200 2.8, 50 1.4, 17-40 4.0, and the 28-135 (ouch), with the 1.4x extender and a 550 ex flash all in that bag. They fit snug but it works great.

Sorry to not answer your question.

Hi - yeah I have a computrekker at present too, for all my gear. But I want a bag just for the 20D and 70-200. (I also have a Topload zoom 2, Nova 2 and Nova 5 ....).

I have the Lowepro TLZ AW with the chest harness. With the pack on my chest I can leave the top of the bag upzipped with the camera strap around my neck. If I come across something it takes seconds to extract the camera. (no hood on the lens though) I'm using this with a 20D / 100-400L combo and really like it.

Here is a link to the chest harness that came with my bag: http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Accessories/add_ons_upgrades/Topload_Zoom_Chest_Harness.aspx

Cheers.

I've got the chest harness too, very worthwhile to have - some of the retailer sellthe bag with the harness for little or no extra cost, mine did.

Hi sorry if I am repeating what others say but I don't wanna read all this. This is what I gota say to you though. I suggest the Lowepro toploader 75AW with two lens cases attached using the slip lock system. The 85AW I find is a bit wide for this combintaion.

My camera kit consists of 20D+grip EFs 10-22 EF 24-702.8L EF 70-200 2.8L IS - (incl tripod collar+tripod plate+hood reversed) 580EX offshoe and remote swtich cords extra tripod plate+meomorycard cleaning cloth+blower. You might just be able to squeeze in a small light meter or battery charger. You can aslo sinch tight a monopod between the straps that hold the lens cases.

I use lense case 4 and 4s for versatality with any lens 10mm-300mm(hoods reversed on long ones)100-400 also
It's nice to be able to take everything or just snap off what you dont want and have it left protected in a padded case. I am in a wheelchair so I always use the chest strap wich is included along with a shoulder strap. Only negitives would be that the chest strap gets a little anoying after time, due to weight but that's my fault for wanting a full range of fast zooms and that the strap is hard to unhook with the cases in the way(I just leave it and slide the bag off over my head). Hope this helps you with your choice and I'd like to say thanks to Jeff who pointed this bag out to me. Cheers

Thanks Picture-this.

I am also moving to buying some lens cases to fit onto the sides of my Computrekker so the extra flexibility of adding it to the Toploader is great.

Does the AW bag expand enough to cover the lens cases?

No worries. Ah I fiddled with it once, it wasn't workin so well for me on just the bag alone.
