I need advise on Rainbows

What can I do to bring out rainbows so they show up better before using PS? Here are a couple of shots that have rainbows that were not very vivid in the sky but were more visiable than you see in the pictures. The first picture I was able to bring it out more by raising the saturation but at a lose of quality.

I don't have an answer, as mine usually seem less vibrant than reality. Maybe a slight underexposure, say 1/3 or 1/2 stop, would help?

I did this with auto colors and saturation before and afters

Sparker1 was correct I think. I took this a year or so ago, all I did was knock down the exposure a little. Then again, it was a pretty vibrant rainbow (a double one at that!), so it didn't need any work in PS. Try the exposure first, seemed to help me as well.

Definitely underexpose a bit or else replicate that in PS. Then a little boost in saturation and you've got it.

not bad you did a better job then me.... but the inside of the rainbow does tend to look a little fake.... but it's still pretty good if I didn't know.

If you're looking to make it "pop" before you get it to PS try shooting with a circular polarizer. Rotate the polarizer until the rainbow looks the best. I've shot quite a few rainbows using this technique and I think it works well.
