my first trip to nyc

hey guys, finally made it out to nyc. kinda new to this whole photography thing. would apreciate some cc. first shots with my new 30d. didnt mess to much around in pp, adjusted the levels a bit. i brought up the fill ight then downed the brightness to get rid of the litle foggy haze that could be seen in the distance. could prob have brightened them up a bit too. i will keep them coming as i finish the processing http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c270/szeth13/nyc1007copy.jpg

I know this area too well; I lived in Jersey for 20-some years.

They both look somewhat dark. A little more brightness would have helped. But you know that.

Colors look very dark as well. 1st one is better than the second. Composition hurts the second one. Try something new. We've all seen this place in photos a thousand times; show us from an angle we don't normally see.

yeah that seems to be my problem. finding new things to shoot. i did the pp on these in about two mins it was quick and dirty, just to get them up and going. i have a couple more to post that arent so common.
