This flower was growing next the cactus in my yard. I walk by it everyday and never noticed the relationship!
I did use Photoshop to eliminate the background, please leave feedback!

Mike, I have looked at this several times. I can't believe that you have had no replies. I actually like the shot. The colors are vivid and I do like the black background. Nice job.

I agree, very nice shot. The Photoshop work doesn't look to bad either. I really like the lighting on the cactus.

The lighting was day light with fill flash.

Call me a freak, but I have to mention... "Photo's by Mike" means "Photo is by Mike", which doesn't really make any sense.

The editing work is great though!

Makes perfect sense, the photo was taken by mike!
You are only seeing one photo right now, when displayed you do see more than one.
( No big deal )

I like the PS version better. Really like the concept, soft and rough... Nice.
