Kind of soliciting comments on my past year's work. I have been thinking about it for awhile and decided might as well - at least a few of you will give a good opinion.

http://www.longwatcher.com/portfolio.html

If under 18 (or otherwise not an adult) or squemish please don't visit the adult themes section.

The first three in the top row of "Studio Models" are from last year. I still have two from this year to do, but I can only do so much in one day. And yes the Danielle shoot is way too dark -still need more practice.

The first 8 from my adult themes are from this and last year. You do have to go through a disclaimer page and I highly recommend skipping "Aye" as I need to fix the file sizes very badly. For trivia "Latiyah" and Renee and Slinka" are my favorites at this time , but Gina is more typical of what I like to do.

Anyway let me know what you think and again if under 18 (or not mature) don't go there.

I am looking for hints on lighting (I have 2 AB1600, 2 AB800 and not enough room), color balance (my eyes are off slightly), composition, and overall look. For the adult themes on top of anything else, I am also trying to be as artistic as I can given the constraints of the shoot, so comments to improve that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks for any comments.

{note: to moderators if the adult folder is not allowed then just delete this post, I could find nothing prohibiting it if it is a link and it is a non-commercial site}

Excellent work. I am over 18 (unfortunatly) so I did visit the adult section :D

There is a very pretty picture of a red bird in a tree hidden among the other birds, and interesting juxtaposition.

If you mean the Red Cardinal, That is probably my most technically correct and overall best ever picture taken in terms of focus, Depth of field, the model's posing (obviously no direction on my part), and composition (no cropping other then to get to standard size paper). I decided to include it and the "Michelle and the Jamaican buzzard" shot for balance on my best of page.

I was kind of hoping for some critiscims though. I have a pretty good idea of what I am doing right, it is what I am doing wrong I need help on.

Thanks though,
